Hey, everyone. I currently have a 5.1 surround system with in-wall speakers in my media room. I am wanting to expand my 5.1 setup to 7.1 utlizing wireless speaker for the rear channels. I would go the in-wall route but I do not have access to the insides of the walls to run the speaker wire therefore that is not an option for me. My question to the forum is whether or not it is possible to add some quality wireless speakers to my current configuration and it sound good. I have a Yamaha 7.1 reciever with speaker wire outputs for the additional two channels available.

If there is not a quality solution to make this work, what would be some other options to gain that coveted 7.1 sound? Thanks in advance!

Yes, but wireless speakers aren't totally wireless, they simply trade a speaker cable for a power cable. That may be fine if you have AC outlets where you want to place them, otherwise not so much.

Yea, I guess I didn't consider that. Thanks, Bill!
