My AVR has three powered zones. I'm currently using Zone 2 for outdoor speakers, and I'm considering using Zone 3 for some speakers in the garage.

My attic sits directly above my garage (and has easy access), so I'm thinking of using in-ceiling speakers. My question is, is it worth it to build some kind of enclosure for the speakers? If so, any suggestions on shape/size/materials for the enclosure?

As for the speakers, I was thinking something relatively inexpensive (Polk, Yamaha, etc), but I'm open to other suggestions. Thanks!

I was thinking of these guys , or these from monoprice, seem to get good reviews at least on this site. Nice and cheap, play nice and low too (43hz)
