You could also hang or put the cc on a shelf above the tv

Maybe one of these TV floor stands would - they fit behind/under your current TV cabinet/stand and include their own "wall style" mount.

Both allow you flexibility re the height of the TV (i.e. how much room you leave for a center speaker on the top shelf of your current TV cabinet/stand). The 2nd, more expensive one, lets you tilt and rotate the TV.
