What would you do...

1) Change the center channel Micro to something slightly larger (Mini, maybe?) to strengthen the low-mids, then get something like a BIC F12 for a proper amount of bass
2) Get an 8" sub that can comfortably fill up to 150, live with it
3) Get an 8" sub that can comfortably fill up to 150, and then something like a BIC F12 for deeper bass

I'm a newb, so maybe I'm understanding this all wrong, but I think my NR515 claims to support two subs, but really it's just a single with a splitter so only one crossover setting. So to do two subs I'd need an external crossover for the F12? Also, with such a setup is the placement of the deeper sub more flexible (e.g. could I place it in the rear of the room instead of up front?)

What would you do?

I can only tell you what I did.. I switched out the center for a cc5 and I use a Def Tech super cube 2 for my sub. I let my Onkyo receiver set the levels. The system sounds great. Enjoy.
