This thread has went from exciting, to disappointing, to bizarre, and now to weird.
At this point I'm not really interested in the thread but it's like not being able to take your eyes off a slow motion train wreck.
As you can see from my past postings, I bought a pair of Lores from Tekton two years ago January and they were shipped to me along with very nicely made grills three months later. I’ve moved the Lores from a large room to a very large room and they continue to sound great and play loud.
From many past dealings, both in business and on the internet, I’ve learned that “bad” companies usually end up with numerous complaint to the BBB and grades of D or F, whether they participate or not. Interestingly, Tekton has only one complaint during the past year and an overall grade of B+.
How can this be? Three things seem clear. Tekton went through a very rough patch. This forum helped to point out that improvement was needed. Tekton has been improving and has committed to improve further (Eric has asked people to call him directly if they feel that they still have an open issue).
What I’d like to see going forward are new
postings from people that say they’ve been taken care of…or not. And postings from people that own Tekton product with comments on their rooms, their equipment and how their Tekton products are performing for them.
Let’s give Tekton a pass for the next 6 months, stop rehashing past problems and see if the improvements happen as promised/committed.
