I have the music mix mostly finished. Only 2 more tracks I have to cut and add in the middle....
We currently sit at 33 minutes and 30 seconds
So that means for those that submitted more material than others, and you few know who you are, will have their bottom couple selections removed to fit our time limit.
It sounds good over here and I will try my best to get out some copies in forms ya'll can listen to soon.
I wanted to take a little bit of time to comment on what the screen setup will look like.
See this photo:
Across the top will be a clock, showing how far in the clips we currently are. (The picture says we are at 13 minutes and 17 seconds)
Along the left are two decibel meters. The left one is how loud the signal going to the receiver is. (For most material this peaks at just below 0dB)
The right meter is an input from the microphone I will be bringing. I will calibrate it to be accurate of what is being played. Example: If we have the receiver at -15 dB the mic meter should show about -15 dB lower.
Across the middle is our playlist. The song track titles and waveforms will be scrolling by. The current position is shown by the little orange triangle.
On the bottom Are two spectrographs. The one on the left shows a typical piano scale with the upper frequencies compressed (20Hz - 3kHz). The one on the right is weighted towards the upper frequencies (1kHz - 40kHz). These scroll to the right. The current play position, or real-time is on the very right edge of each.
I will give a run down in person at the event, this is just to get you excited if you weren't already. Those of you who were at the subwoofer meetup, this is most likely familiar to you.
