Hello there,
I'm looking for some speaker stands to be behind my couch that will fit the Studiomonitors 350. I looked at the Definitive stands that are made for these speakers but they are a bit short. I would need something that's at least 30" in height. Anyone have any suggestions? Not looking to spend too much on these.

Hi,
I have the same question as yours. Were you able to find something to meet your requirement. If yes, what did you get.

Something like this would work well: http://www.amazon.com/Sanus-Systems-Natural-Foundations-Black/dp/B00005USAY/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1385048760&sr=8-4&keywords=sanus+stands

I would recommend some blu-tac to help secure them to the surface if you have pets/kids/clumsy friends.

I'm planning to get these for my SM350s. The top plate is a little smaller than I'd like (7.1" x 7.1") , but I don't think ti will be a big issue. Other than blue tac it doesn't seem it would be too difficult to fab up a slight larger top plate and affix it to the existing one somehow.

I just don't like the look/feel of the wood ones for where they'd be going in my house.

If you get them, let us know how you like them!

VTI makes some really nice stands also, I have a pair of their 36" DF stands for my surrounds, and they work very well. They are made of cast iron and are very study, with space for cable management and adjustable feet. They obviously cost a little more than the wood offerings, but just throwing out some options.

Thanks for the different suggestions. I will have to measure the height once again to make sure I get the stand with the correct height. But these do give me some options to think about.
