Hi everybody,

I previously had Bose Cinemate system (the cheaper one of them) but I sold it while I moved far away from previous location and it was too expensive to get my stuff with me. I was pretty pleased with system and it wouldn't be too bad to go with it again but then I feel bored to buy similar system that I already have and I'd like to try something new.

I'm going to spend maximum of $600 on the system and I definitely don't want there to be surround speakers at all. So I'm looking for most likely 2.1 system or the sound bar. I prefer more active speakers than those which requires amplifier but everything is okay to suggest if it fits my budget.

Thank you very much in advance. smile.gif

2.1 is a sure improvement over a sound bar. How is this going to be placed in your room? A receiver has multiple advantages over powered speakers for a setup like yours.

Speakers $180

Sub $180

Receiver $250

It's going to be with TV. The set you showed me looks awesome so I think I go with it and not going to start spending too much time with this choice.

Thank you very much Jay1! smile.gif

I have placed order for the setup Jay1 showed me earlier. I cannot buy right now but for the future is there some good option to add front center channel to this set? smile.gif

Your best bet would be to just buy another pair of 350's and use 1 as a center. This is the matching unit

While I have to wait anyways to buy center channel later I guess I will go for the one which you showed up at Amazon. It is still probably good improve compared to just regular speaker so I'm willing to pay more later. smile.gif

Thanks again Jay1!
