Or even the Niles Pro 2870. They look nice but no reviews.

Was trying to get Energy RC70s but now I am undecided. I have my eye on Def Tech BP8060ST HT package and PSB T6 speakers. I did send a PM to one of the members here about the Niles Stagefront speakers and he had nothing but wonderful things to say. Honestly, I dont think you can go wrong with Niles Stagefronts. Only reason I passed on them is because I wanted tower speakers, otherwise they are hard to beat for the price. Let me know what you decide to do and good luck.

I am very interested in these as well. Thinking of replacing my Infinity Beta's that I haven't used. They look impressive.

I just got a pair of stage front 1870's but i have 2 issues. The first is Weather or not to use them as a rear surround or for my main fronts because i have a pair of acoustic research AR-9's High Res series. The second is that the Niles are rated at 6 Ohm and the AR-9's are rated at 8 Ohm. I am using an Onkyo TXNR-809 to run them.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Read this article, I think you will find that 6 ohm speakers are not an issue if your amp is powerful enough. I have a L/R/C setup with the Niles Plasma 42s and they are rated at 6 ohm. Never had a problem and they sound great at high or low volume.
