I was going to get the Bose Lifestyle 35, but instead I got these:

Onkyo TX-NR818
Polk TL350 + PSW 111 (came free)

Around $1900.
My room is 14X12 so I dod'nt need a bigger sub.

yeah, its better than the Bose.

The receiver is highly rated and if you ever decide to upgrade your speakers the NR818 can easily work with them.

Yes, good system. just heard the Polk TL350 this weekend! not bad at all, especially for a small room. You will, however, miss out on the Tweedler Technology...

Set up #1: EMP e5ti, e5Ci, and SLS Q line Audio surrounds, EMP 10i10i sub
Set up #2: Def Tech SM450, CLR2002, SLS Qline surrounds and Klipsch 12wD sub
Set up #3: JBL130, JBL120C and Klipsch synergy sub

I must commend you Brent, you have some tough skin. Some of those guys were pretty rough in that BOSE thread.

However, I think you'll be MUCH happier with this setup. Enjoy!
