So I am redoing my HT setup and have had my Synergy B3 speakers for a few years now. They still perform quite well. I just received a new pair of the Infinity that I initially planed to use for additional surround speakers. They are bigger than I expected and would look right at home up front!
Looking at the stats of each, it appears the old school Synergy speakers have the edge in overall power. But which should I use for "Front Speaker" duty for best overall sound quality??? confused.gif
I am powering them with a brand new Yamaha Aventage RX-2010

What do you mean power..?

You mean sensitivity? It doesn't matter much between the two.

Well the fronts will carry much more workload than surround so I was just trying to see which would serve their rules better? wink.gif

It doesn't matter.

I would suggest hooking both of them up and seeing which one you like more. It should be pretty similar. (well horn vs cone but that's another discussion)
