The Energy Takes are good speakers but still smallish. That's why I'm not convinced on the total usefulness of the Audyssey calibration system on bookshelf-sized speakers. I did something similar with my bookshelf's by setting the x-over at 120Hz. That took some of the load off of the satellites which seemed to make them more responsive and clearer while still maintaining good bass response for our listening environment.
