I think in that price range, the Jamo set is about as good as you will get...as long as you are aware that it is 5.0, not 5.1!
Set up #1: EMP e5ti, e5Ci, and SLS Q line Audio surrounds, EMP 10i10i sub Set up #2: Def Tech SM450, CLR2002, SLS Qline surrounds and Klipsch 12wD sub Set up #3: JBL130, JBL120C and Klipsch synergy sub
thats a tight budget. i was going to recommend the jamo, but you beat me to it, and pair it with an BIC f12 for 180 more bux. that would be it for that price range. What i went with at a slightly higher budget was the BIC FH-6t towers (120 each), FH6-LCR center (100), and DV-62si (100 pair) for all 4 of my surround channels. Thats 560 w/o a sub, still recommend the f12; i already had 3 subs. sounds amazing. i had all polks before.
I own the Jamo setup and it's decent but excellent for the price. The Bostons are probably a bit better if you can live with white. If not, I'd go with the Jamos. You could get them and the highly recommended sub (wait for it to go on sale for $300 shipped) below for around your budget.
guys thank you for the advices i really appreciated, i know that is the only budget i can afford at this time, and for that budget i cant choose the best speakers on that tight budget. i will look for these speakers and maybe wait to get on sale.
