I suggest that you get a pair of the Polk R150 speakers for the rear channels, and add a PSW505 subwoofer. You should be able to get both for $300 total.
There is certainly nothing wrong with the Monitor 60 speakers except that they need a good subwoofer; they really only have solid bass down to 50 or 60 Hz, so you need a good 12-inch sub that will give you plenty of low bass between 30 and 60 Hz.
Don't mess with anything smaller than a 12-inch sub; a waste of money.
I would just return or sell the rest of the stuff, and go with an all-Polk speaker system. Bose and Energy do not impress me at all; not something I would recommend to anyone.
If you really want better-sounding clearer vocals and dialog in movies etc., then at some point you might want to consider upgrading to a Polk TL2 center speaker; that would be helpful there..
