hi all,

i have a panasonic viera TX-L42ET5E, and the Audyssey lower east side speakers (wich are a 2.0 speaker set) and i connected them via toslink optical audio. now if there's normal audio playing i works great with amazing audio, but if i try to play a Blu-ray or somethink like that it gives a pop and no audio.
whats the problem and how can i fix this??

thx in advance gtgamewizard

You probably need to change your blu ray player to send a 2 channel PCM signal, not a bitstream Dolby Digital or DTS audio signal. Your speakers don't know what to do with that.

So change the settings on your blu ray player....

sure you can... just go to audio settings and change it to pcm. on either your BR player or TV. there may also be a setting for audio passthrough, just make sure its not set to "raw" set it to pcm/44khz

He's not using a blu ray player, he's using a USB stick with a blu ray movie on it apparently....
