I've spent several hours researching speakers for l/c/r. I've been able to narrow it down to three different models but have hit a wall. I'm considering HSU HB-1, Chase M-1, and ARX A1b.

Any further opinions/preferences/insight you can give me on those speakers would be much appreciated.

Sorry, I haven't heard any of them. Personally I recommend Ascend Acoustics. Are you sure Chase is still in business? Thought he (i.e. Craig Chase) went nuts with taxation or insurance or something and said screw everything?

Only one I heard was the HSU. Frankly hard to beat for the price. If these are the only choices...and I only heard one....go with HSU.

I wouldn't buy from Chase if one expects long term customer support. The products might be good, but the owner of that small business is wacko.

Thanks for the advice. I have narrowed it down to HSU or Arx.
