Thanks Craig. Upon doing more research that is what I found too, at least that seems to be the consensus among the majority of people. It just happens that the 2 seats that my wife and I use all the time (that recline with leg supports---comfy!) are in the prime listening position.
On my Yamaha receiver I have the YPOA (or whatever the letters are) that take everything into account. I am correct in my understanding that I should have the sound waves meet a few feet ahead of the listening position (point the speakers towards the front of the room slightly) to cut down on localization...they shouldnt be pointed directly at the seating position....correct?
