Wanted to know if anyone had experience with these speakers? I know SVS and HSU makes good subs but I don't know much about their speakers. The SVS SBS-02 are discontinued and are only $150 for a pair but the HSU HB-1 MK2 is about that price for one speaker. Want to use a 7.2 speaker system in my HT. I plan on using a pair of SVS PB-1000 for $900.

The Hsu speakers are far more powerful with a 92 dB half-space sensitivity. The SBS sensitivity at 82 dB is weak in comparison, in fact, that is weak compared to most speakers in that class. Your receiver's amp will go a lot further with the HB-1 speakers.
