I've been looking for a few months for my next set of speakers. These speakers will be 100% home theater/TV watching. Budget, I'm still working on that. There is a few placement concerns. The speakers will have to be pretty close to the wall and be roughly 7' apart. If possible I'd like the center to be wall mounted (or on a shelf). Viewing distance is 10-12 feet. I currently have a Outlaw LFM-1EX and plan on buying another to fill out the room. The is about 3400 cubic feet.

I'm open to any ideas. Been looking at NHT to Paradigm (on wall speakers). If I can get away with nice bookshelfs, I'll need sturdy speaker stands. I have a 80lb Doberman and 55lb Bulldog.

Thanks for any help. I'm redoing everything over the course of a year. Planning on buying a Emotiva XPA-3 to cover the front stage. If you need more info, let me know.

WAF is a must. As long as they look good, she'll go for it. Colors? No white, if it's wood grain, then I'll need matching surrounds available.

If I were you, I'd take a closer look at the JBL Studio L Series though, specially the LC-2 & L820's.

I haven't even looked at any JBL stuff. Is there HT better than car audio?

Anyone have NHT speakers placed near the wall? I was told that I can mount the center speaker right up against the wall. Plus they're nice and sleek looking.

Next questions, Classic 3 vs Absolute tower? Pros/cons? I went to get horn loaded speakers to get the highs, I'd like to get nice detailed sound with clear highs..
