Is there any way to get diffused sound from something like a dipole or bipole in a room with no back wall.

I was looking at mirage but the omd5 are out of price range and the nanosats only go to 110hz while all my other speakers go to 60hz.

Will you be using these speakers as rear surrounds? If you are, going to 110 hz is not really going to matter too much if you use a sub.

It's a 5.1, they will be the surrounds. The fronts go down below 60hz and I also have a sub.

For dipole of bipole, it's best to have them mounted against since these speakers rely on walls and ceilings to reflect the sound around the room. If these are going to be free-standing, I would try and get the Mirage Omnipolar speakers. I wouldn't worry about the 110 hz cut-off for surrounds.
