Ok, so I finally got all the speakers and set them up yesterday (the white NHTs were back ordered). I've run Audyssey several times and I keep getting crossover range on the front mains around 150-200. That seems pretty high, no? I thought maybe I had a bad connection (1st time banana plug user - open screw type, a little confusing) so I removed all the banana plugs and hard-wired in but basically got the same results.
Also, with the Klipsh 12-D - when I run Auddyssey should I turn it to crossover 120 or Lowpass Off - LFE Mode? I keep getting -12 db which I read is maxing out.
UPDATE: - I did it a few more times (with the fam out of the house -lol) and got the mains down to 80 with the center 100 and rears 60. But then I do it again and I get 150 for the mains. WTF!? I know there's an art to it, but this is all over the place!
P.S. - when I found the Audyssey mic in my drawer, the tip of it had been exposed and shuffled around amongst other items. I'm sure these mics are sensitive, perhaps the mic itself has been compromised
