I want to hear how you would spend the money. Room is 11x 17

The TV is mounted opposite of the seating position of the short side of the room. So 10ish ft away, wall behind each. This is in my living room so nothing too ugly.

Already have a SVS sub.

I think 3 Philharmonitors for LCR would be right at $1350......http://philharmonicaudio.com/philharmonicaudio/philpages/monitors.html

Of course, you would need to get stands ( and spend more money).............

Those Philharmonitors look nice and is a great choice but I'd buy the Ascend Sierra-1s main reason is cause I own them and I'm extremely happy with them, it's hard to believe audio can get that much better then what the Sierra-1 NrT can do. But the other reason would be cause Ascend offers its customer upgrade options so you can buy the Sierra-1 LCR and when the Sierra-2 come out in the summer you can easily upgrade the tweeter to the raal (if that's what their using) without the huge price of having to buy the whole speaker again, this adds so much benefits to the Sierra-1 and peace of mind for the buyers not getting screwed out of a lot more money down the road, Dave at Ascend deserves a lot of credit for doing this for his customers.

^^^^^ I think the Sierra-1s with the NrT tweeter would be a very good choice here, also.............

There is someone on this forum ( Goride) who has heard both the Sierra-1s ( don't know if he has the ones with the NrT tweeter, though) and the Philharmonitors. Perhaps he could give us all his views ( I asked him to do so in another thread)...........
