I am considering the Bowers and Wilkins 805 speakers as part of a home theater/music room.

How much better are the 805Ds as compared to the 805S?

Would the 805S be a better speaker than the CM5 bookshelf?

In terms of a center speaker, would the CM Centre 2 match well with the 805D or should I stick with the 800 series center for a closer matching tweeter?

Thanks!

You'll probably get more replies in the dedicated B&W thread...but.

805D vs. 805S--significantly better.

Yes, 805S would be better than the CM5.

CM does not match 800 series. Drivers, config, cabinet, crossovers--all different.

B.
