Hey everyone.

From my sig you can see that I have 6 N24II speakers set up in 7.1 with the JBL TLX Center 1 speaker.

The official timbre matched center speaker for the N24II's is the JBL N-Center II speaker.

Can anyone reference the specs of the 2 center speakers and tell me how much worse the TLX Center 1 is compared to the N-Center II?

If I were to upgrade to the N-Center II, would I notice a huge difference in sound quality as it relates to timbre matching?

Is the TLX Center 1 a bad choice for my current set-up?

I've had the speakers for many years and I even have a spare set of the N24II's in case any of the others fail. Just don't know if I should bother trying to hunt down a very good conditioned N-Center II speaker or not to optimize my sound. It's an older speaker and hard to find one un-opened or in mint condition.

Curious how I can tell just how close to timbre matched the TLX Center 1 is, or if it is way off. I like how it sounds, but am curious what I might be missing with a timbre matched system. At the time I purchased the TLX Center 1, I wasn't aware of timbre matching, else I would have purchased the N-Center II. Any help is appreciated. thanks

There are two N-Centers that don't look too bad on ebay right now, I would grab one and party on.
