Hey I am considering making these trek(45 minutes away) this weekend to hear these, I'm very interested in this speaker set, all of the reviews have have been top notch.

Also the hometheater reviewer even stated that with quality electronics, it rivaled the mcintosh dream theater he reviewed last year...........I got a chance to hear the mcintosh dream theater system he reviewed, earlier this year and i was floored!!!!!!

Has anybody heard this sonus faber system? If so i would appreciate your comments.........

I listened to the 3.0s at Axpona in March. It was stereo, not multichannel. I thought they sounded great. I found my foot constantly tapping along with the music. I initially thought they were being run with a sub, but it was just the towers. Very tight bass. Good midrange. Highs were smooth but not as detailed as say a beryllium tweeter. I expected a higher price tag after listening to them. Definitely worth an audition.

I also here the Venere 3.0 at Axpona. These speakers were powered by modest electronics (in some regards) and they still sounded wonderful. They are very musical speakers.

I've got Sonus Faber Toy Towers (actually a center and surrounds also). ....http://www.sumikoaudio.net/sonus/prod_toy_tower.htm
The Toy towers are superb for listening to music. (and home theater too).

The Venere 3.0, which lists for about $1000 more, has that Sonus Faber sound, but a little more dynamic. There is a Magnolia store
close to me, and one of these days I've got to get over there and give the 3.0's a listen. From the pictures I've seen, the Venere also
has very nice styling. Not made in the Italy, but China.....but I'm sure Sonus Faber makes sure the quality is there.

I love the way my Toy towers sound, and I don't think you can go wrong with the 3,0 Verene's. They get great reviews.

Here's some used 3.0's on audiogon. For $2,700 plus $160 shipping they won't last very long.
