I'm new to this forum and this is my first post. I am not very knowledgeable about the audio world but I love to listen to great music and watch some movies. My question is I'm in need of a great center channel speaker and I keep coming across the brand aperion. My current set up is a Pioneer VSX-1120 receiver paired with Klipsch RF-62 front speakers and a Lava 10" sub. I keep hearing how good the Aperion 5C is and was wondering if this would be a good choice for me. Thanks

If you have Klipsch RF-62's up front you should get a Klipsch center speaker like the RC-52 or RC-62. You want your front 3 speakers to have a tonal match.

I seriously doubt the Aperion will be a tonal match to your Klipsch towers.

+1. You really want your front soundstage to match, especially with something as distinctly sounding as Klipsch.

The Aperion 5c would not go well with your Klipsch speakers. Aperion uses a soft dome tweeter, and has a smoother
sound (warmer) than the Klipsch. The Klipsch speakers are more dynamic (horn tweeter), and many people like the dynamic sound
for home theater.
