I have the paradigm studio 60 and cc590. With my speaker trade in I get full credit for mine if I spend double. I'm going for an all McIntosh system. Mc205 and mx121. I heard the xr100 and was blown away. So I'm curious how the lcr80 compares to the cc590 and xr50 to the studio 60. The xr100 I would get last.

If you're curious, why not go listen for yourself? Obviously no one has heard the Mcintosh and Paradigms side by side.

How many high-end brick and mortar dealers displaying McIntosh speakers are still standing in this country--3?

I love those McIntosh XLR-340's (not sure if that is the correct model number?) compared to the Paradigms.

I auditioned the XR50, @$2,000 each they are in the high-end market, and might be out price range for what most are looking for. I think they are are high performance speakers, and really get loud. The manufactures specs and what I heard do not correlate.

The XR100s are great and sound as you'd expect. Its the surprise that the XR50s give up very little Output when compared.

McIntosh Labs! What am I listening to?
