I want to put some in-wall speakers in my bathroom and run the wires to my onkyo ds484 receiver in the next room. Money is an issue and, through my searching, found my best bet would probably be to get some cheap marine speakers, they look to run 15-75 for a pair. Problem is every marine speaker I've found (mainly looking on amazon) is 4ohms and my receiver says 6 ohms min./speaker. Will marine speakers be ok or will they kill my onkyo? Or do I have a better option?

Do they have to be inwall?

These are cheap and 8ohms.

NOTE: I haven't used them personally so you probably still have some research/homework to do... but I thought I'd give you some options to get you going.

I doubt that you will play bathroom speaker very loud. The amp should be fine.

I doubt you need marine - just polly-plas, not paper or silk.
