I have just completed the screen on a wall and selected the PJ, now I'm looking, maybe listening, to speakers and a receiver, (receiver budget $800)

Went to Best Buy for starters liked the Definitive's

The room is 15x15 with a 10' ceiling, was thinking two floor standing, ctr and two surrounds with sub.

Your suggestions.

The Denon AVR3313 would be a solid choice, has pre-outs for future upgrades and Audyssey MultEQ XT room correction.

Ascend is a good brand, and they are very popular. You can audition the speakers in your home with no risk.

CMT-340 SE L/R, CMT-340 SE C, CBM-170 SE SL/SR

This comes to $1100 shipped, and it leaves you plenty of room to pick up a good sub. You could look at the SVS PB12-NSD, Outlaw LFM1-EX, HSU VTF-3 MK4, and if you can swing it, the Rythmik FV15.

Denon AVR-1713 | EMP E55Ti | EMP E56Ci | EMP E5Bi | BIC F-12

Another option would be the Klipsch Reference Series, but you ought to hear them first before you go with Klipsch as some people find their speakers bright and possibly fatiguing.

You could get the RB-61 II L/R, RC-52 II C, and RS-42 II SL/SR, then pair that with any of the subs above.

The EMPtek towers are only $347 each right now, that might be worth considering. Here is a nice system for less than $2k:
2 x EMP e55Ti towers = $694
EMP E56Ci Center = $395
2 x EMP E5Bi bookshelf speakers = $225
Hsu VTF2 mk4 subwoofer = $596
Total = $1910 shipped
