Hi All,

Need recommendation for outdoor speakers for backyard. My budget is between $300 and $500. The backyard is about 40'x67' of which seating area is about 10'x45'

Thanks in advance.

Forgot to mention, the seating area has open trellis cover from which speakers can be mounted or it could be in ground.
The speakers can be wired to my multi zone receiver.

I'd probably take a look at the Definitive Technology AW 6500. Unless you need something even more powerful, this is a powerful and accurate loudspeaker that would put you right in the middle of your budget at $400 a pair. Depending on how loud you plan on playing them, another alternative is the Klipsch KHO-7, which can be had at half the price (this is the speaker I plan on purchasing but haven't got around to buying yet). It isn't quite as powerful, but if you mainly use it for background or medium level audio, I would think this would still provide a filling sound.
