I have a set of B&W Nautilus 805 speakers for my main 2.1 channel system.

The rest of the system is:
Oppo BDP 105 (also used as a preamp)
Odyssey Audio Stratos Extreme 2 channel amp
Paradigm Seismic 110 sub with PBK sub EQ

I recently stepped up from Paradigm MilleniaOne speakers, and my thoughts are that the B&W N805s blow away the Millenias for anything classical, acoustical, jazz, instrumentals, etc. There is no question the B&Ws are better for that type of material. However, I found the B&Ws to be slightly veiled or recessed sounding for vocals and movie dialogue compared to the much "lesser" Paradigm MilleniaOnes. I actually preferred the MilleniaOnes for Pop/Rock/R&B/Movies over the B&Ws. That is surprising. This is not the super expensive D805s or even the 805S, but the older N805s.

Because of this, I am wondering if it'd be worthwhile giving the Paradigm Signature S2s an audition. How do the Paradigm Signature S2s compare with the B&W N805?

If it is easy for you to audition the S2's, don't hold back, just do it. smile.gif
