Free measurement software.

http://www.hometheatershack.com/roomeq/

Allows you to figure out what frequencies need to be EQ'd by taking a measurement of your subs response. Yes you can use the mic that comes with your receiver for this. You will have to find the patience to learn to use the software correctly, but it is possible even for someone unfamiliar with the subject material.

There is also a built in EQ on REW that will tell you the c correct adjustments that need to be made to get the desired output

It's not 100% foolproof but after just starting to play with it it gets your pretty darn close then its just little tweaks if you so choose

The Mic On the denon does audysseys EQ, and while it sure to make everything a little more balanced its not as good as going through yourself and doing it.

EMP E55ti | EMP E56ci | Polk T15's for surround duty | Ultimax 15" Sub | Integra 40.2 | Rotel 976 | Panasonic 60ST60
