Interesting. This will not make current methods obsolete, just allow for complete accuracy in a short period of time. I think it is funny that even now a speaker can be designed that is perfectly flat in an anechoic chamber, yet most high end manufacturers chose not to design for flat. It will be interesting to see if anything actually comes from this other then making pro mixing speakers easier to develop.
I think this technology is great, but will take a while before it is commonly used.
