Hi All, Just bought the Audioengine P4, Lepia 2020+ Tripath amp, and Dayton sub 800. was going to go with Audioengine A2's, but from reading review gathered that the P4 sounded more refined in the low mids, thus less muddy. On the amp I opted to get the one with no power supply, and bought the 12v 5amp. Was going to go for the Audioengine A2's, for their size, but really had my doubts about such a small woofer, and lower midrange detail. Did I make the right choice? Still have time to change the order. Is it worth the extra money.

You should always be confident about your purchases otherwise you experience significant buyers remorse and second guess your purchase.

Hook up your equipment and listen to it. If it sounds good then you made the right purchase. If you dont then you should return it and try something else out. Rarely is going smaller the best option though. I love my audioengines i think they are very good for the price.

I should add this sound system is just for my computer. I have a very high end audio system for my main listening. I heard a lot about these products have have not actual listened to any of them.

I have the Indeed TA2021, which is similar to the Topping TP21 (same t-amp chip), only no headphone amp. I replaced an HK 3390 in my desktop setup with it. I was looking for something smaller and more energy efficient. I've been very happy with it. Drives my speakers to unlistenable volumes for nearfield use and sounds very good. smile.gif

Is the subwoofer directly connected to the soundcard?
