not gonna work. Bose Companion 5 is a computer speaker and needs a USB connection. TV's don't have USB outputs and I've never heard of a Optical to USB converter. One could exist but I've never heard of it.

Everything I'm seeing is USB in, TOSLINK out. Not the other way around.

Dumb enough to spend lots of cash on this junk!

Agreed. If the Bose Companion 5 are new, return them and order the Emotiva Airmotiv 4. Much better speakers smile.gif
