Klipsch

F-30 (2 of them)
C-20 (single)
S-20 (2 of them)
SW-110 (single)

For $1100? It's like brand new.

I don't think my Denon AVR1913 can put out enough power to make full use of these. I'd rather have an rw-12d, but I suppose I could always grab another SW-110.

I think you are right. eBay is another good source, but, usually shipping kills you, UNLESS local pickup is an option...

12 months acousticssounddesign had all this for $2395 and it included a $1000 AVR, the Harman Kardon AVR 3650 7.1

It included:
2 RF-62II Towers
1 RC-62II Center
2 RS-52II Surrounds(Black Only)
1 SW-310 Subwoofer.(Black Only)
1 Harman Kardon AVR 3650 7.1 AV Receiver with Blue Tooth (bluetooth-Limited supply-will ship about 1-5-2013)

Bascially they were selling the speakers for $2395 - $1000 = $1395

Now they want $2200 for just the speakers, which they sold for damn near 1/2 the price a year ago on black friday. I may just wait till this years black friday.

+1 Good middle ground between the entry level Klipsch stuff, and their higher end reference line. You should be able to get the PL-89 system for ~1000 with the make an offer feature. And high sensivity speakers like the BICs and Klipsch do not need a lot of power to get loud. Your Denon should work fine unless you are in a very large space. A second, or better sub would make a lot more difference.

Yeah I agree. I have heard all the Klipsch Icon/Icon V and Synergy Towers and I prefer the Acoustech PL-89 better and its cheaper. In the Klipsch Reference line I demo'd the RF-62 and again I like the PL-89 better, but I know the 62 has 2 - 6.5" woofers and the 89 has 2 8" woofers so that could be the difference (I never was able to demo the RF-82).

Also to me the best thing about the Acoustech speakers over the cheaper Klipsch lines is that they have center speakers that have good freq response and have woofers that match the woofers on the towers.
