Hi all,

I've lurked here for years, literally, finally decided to ask a few questions so have at me, thanks in advance.

I have a 4 story town home and I'd love to get some recommendations on cost efficient speaker pairs for my rooms, the caveat is that I enjoy classical / piano / jazz / ambiet music. They do not need to be tremendously bass filled, but I need crisp sound. I will have a pair in my kitchen, in my bathroom, in my bedroom, and in my office. 8 in total.

I will be likely using a sonos connect AMP to drive the rooms as I want remote wireless control and pandora is my primary source. I know it's limitations, I understand this, but im not looking to shoot the moon with my budget or build. I will likely double up speaker pairs to keep costs in line. though if it was possible to use an amp to drive the speakers and maintain the iphone / ipad / computer volume control id be all ears, i just dont know how the volume control is passed through.

So my questions:
What frequency range do i need to pay attention to for Classical / Piano / Jazz type music?
2-Way or 3-Way speaker better for my needs?
6 inch or 8 inch?

Any suggestions are welcome, keep in mind im looking for a cost effective pair.

The Yamaha NS-IW280CWH 6.5" 3-Way In-Ceiling Speaker has been the primary speaker i've been looking at so far, it's cost effective at $75 a pair.

Thanks in advance

In-ceiling speakers aren't very popular here, but I see a lot of people use Monoprice ones because they offer good value.

Thanks appreciate the response, Im not a huge fan either, but these are for ambient sound, really looking for something that will make my classical / piano / orchestral music sound divine!

Heard good things about sonance, people seem to be weary of yamahas.

What frequency range and would be best suited for my needs?

Appreciate the consideration!
