Anyone have any experience with newer (slimmer) ML's? Have some prodigy's that I love with my tube gear, but want something less intrusive for a small (15' x 20'). Do the on wall stats still have that big airy sound?

for the on-walls I'm guessing you are referring to the EFX? If so, I would be surprised if they aren't a fairly large step down from the prodigy that you have. The newer ML's are excellent but you really would need to look at the Montis or Summit X to keep in line with the same quality that you are coming from

Yes the EFX on-wall stats would have that signature electrostatic sound. They have the same panel size as the ML Source but a slightly newer technology as it's the ESL series. I'm replacing my Spires with them which typically sell for $4000. I'm in the same boat as you, want something smaller but keep that electrostatic sound. Just get a really good sub like the new balanceforce which should have a custom filter for the EFX and I'm sure you won't miss your 20 year old 100lb dinos, they might even sound better overall.
