I just bought a pair of HSU RESEARCH HB1 MK2. I haven't hooked them up yet and I went to a store to buy some stands. The salesman said what kind of speakers did I get and I told him. He said oh I could sell you these Paradigm bookshelf speakers for about $80 more dollars then what I paid for the HSU set. They were slightly smaller but he said they are a lot better. I just now am so confused as I am really a novice. What should I do? Is paradigm a better speaker or should I just keep what I just got in the HSU HB1;s.

Don't go to that store again. Buy your stands somewhere else.

He probably could tell that by your questions and tried to take advantage of you.
