So I have an old A/V receiver and sub already. Just wanted some low cost speakers to play some music in the bedroom and only need speakers now. Just found a set of Klipsch F1's for $45 / pair. Don't know much about Klipsch speakers but for the bedroom, I don't care that much about the speakers. Just something decent will do. The heavy lifting for movies and music is already set up in the living room.

Can anyone read the specs and tell me how these are? For $45, I can't go wrong right?

Will these cones need to be refoamed in the future or did Klipsch use some polymer so it's not foam surrounds?

Need to make a quick decision. At this price, someone is probably going to snatch it up fast.

That is a great deal. The F1s are fine speakers. Grab em.
The surround is not foam. It is butyl rubber and will last a long time.

No, Mr. Bond. I expect you to die!

ok great. Thanks for the info. I was able to dig up IMG = Injection Molded Graphite. Apparently based on a review site, the IMG woofer has woofer rubber surrounds so perfect. Let's see if the guy jacks up his price tomorrow and what the condition the speakers are in.

I assume when I listen before buying I will want to make sure I hear sound coming from the horn and woofer by placing ear right up to each component of each speaker? Is that the best way to test?

Seller turned out to be too shaddy. Seems like a scammer. The search goes on.
