I purchased a Polk LSI15 HT system based on responses on this forum. Thanks a ton!

I'm not happy with the Bass on the LSI15s. Its limited to 50hz at the bottom. I want to mod the LSI15s with woofers that can go down to 30 hz or eben 20 hz. and found these 4 Ohm 8" woofers from Polk. Please help me in choosing from the below or suggest anything else if you've done it.

1) Polk DB840:
Many people have used this successfully. This is my fallback option if nothing else works. $45.45 each on Amazon.
Frequency response: 30-200 Hz
Power Handling: Continuous 180 watts; Peak 360 watts

2) Polk DB840DVC:
I haven't seen this option on the forums yet. $53 each on Amazon. Will this work?
Frequency response: 30-200 Hz
Power Handling: Continuous 180 watts; Peak 360 watts

3) Polk AA3085-A MM840 DVC.
Again I haven't seen anyone do this mod. Will this work? $99 each on Amazon.
Frequency response: 26-200Hz.
Power Handling: Continuous 250 watts; Peak 500 watts

I'm tending towards the third option. Other 8" 4 ohm woofer suggestions are welcome. Thanks much for your help in the past and now in making my HT as good as I could imagine.

My Budget system:
Front: Polk LSI15
Center: Polk LSIC
Sub: PSA XV15
Surround: Polk LSI 7
AVR: Pioneer SC-1522
Amplifier: Parasound HCA 1200 ii

50 hz? Where did you find that? Your own measurements? Polk's specs are -3dB at 32hz. As with most manufacturers Polk's specs are probably a bit "overstated", but not by that much.

If you need more bass then add a sub. I wouldn't replace the woofer...

^^Exactly. Cross those LSI's at 60 or 80hz and call it a day. I use to own LSi15's and they are fantastic speakers, but do have their limitations just like any other tower speaker.

Agreed! Better off buying a quality sub instead of trying to get deep bass out of tower speakers.

Thanks everyone. My second attempt to modify the LSI15s has been thwarted.

I'll get a quality SVS or Seaton Submersuve Sub to go with the HT system.

Update: I purchased a PSA XV15 yesterday. Researched for 2 months and finally picked PSA xv15 from a pool of HSU, Rythmik, SVS, PSA, Outlaw, and Epik.

Price point, 15" driver, warranty, Tom's support on the forums and user reviews helped make the decision. I'm sure it'll be a good upgrade over the klipsch rw-12d.
