I'm seeking advice for a center channel speaker to pair with my set of Def Tech 8020st towers, pushed by a Marantz NR1403 receiver.

I love the towers, but have recently moved to a new space with a bigger room and have noticed a huge difference. The towers now have a much wider setup, about 10 feet apart, and about 10-12 feet from the listener. I now have to crank the receiver volume much higher, and the sound does not seem as full. I think a center channel would be especially helpful for TV/movie dialogue.

I'm tempted by the ProCenter 1000. Any thoughts or other recommendations would be greatly appreciated, as I'm an audio novice.

Thanks!

budget?

look at the CS-8040HD - those should pair well the 8020STs. If not then the PC2000, and lastly the PC1000.

Thanks for your reply. My budget was $200-$300, so I'll probably stretch it to the PC 2000.
