For AVR, right now there is a deal on Newegg for Pioneer VSX-1023 for $305 shipped.

Newegg has the Pioneer VSX-1023-K 7.1 Channel Multi-Zone Network Ready AV Receiver (2013) for $300 in cart + $5 shipping = $305 shipped. Includes a $50 Regal Cinemas gift card with purchase. Found for $423+ elsewhere without the gift card. Features 80 watts (20Hz-20kHz .08% THD @ 8 Ohms) of power along with MHL, DLNA and enhanced smartphone support. 4K Ultra-HD compatible.

Here is the link:

Buy some 12 gauge Monoprice speaker wire instead. There's no advantage in getting the Audioquest other than it costs more wink.gif

The Super 8 is a small 8" sub with a poor low end frequency response -3dB 37Hz - 210Hz, -10dB 30Hz. It would be fine in a smaller room for music listening, but could easily be pushed to its limits in your space, and for HT usage, better to have more low end.

I would go for the PA-150 that AcuDefTechGuy recommended instead. It can be had for $350 if you make Acoustic Sound Design an offer.
I agree with all of this.

No, Mr. Bond. I expect you to die!
