Good Day Speaker Geeks.
I recently relocated and am retiring my Definitive 800's for a new in wall setup. Need some recommendations for a 5.1 system. Would like everything to be in wall an possibly in ceiling for the rear. any suggestions are appreciated.

*nothing is under the TV. Reciever, PS3, Cable box all remotely moved to a closet out of sight.

  • Room is roughly 17.5' x 19'. 19' being the exterior wall where TV and 3 speakers will be mounted. (2 x 4 framing)
  • Rooms is fully open to kitchen which basically extends the open area to 28' x 19'
  • I have about 8-10' of space in width for 55" TV, side and center speakers.
  • Would like to spend around $1000-$1200 (not including sub)
  • 80% TV/Movies, 20% Video Games

LEAD Technologies Inc. V1.01

Was looking at Polk 265-LS, and 265-RT based on the only real review I could find online in 2013.
Open to any suggestions, please include mode numbers. Thanks

Revel 253L http://www.revelspeakers.com/Products/Details/212 with matching in-ceilings.

Or

KEF Ci200QL (or smaller Ci160) http://www.kef.com/html/us/showroom/custom_installed_speakers/ci_series/speaker/Ci200QL/index.html

Both, with street pricing, shoukd do well in your budget. Personally, I prefer the KEF for the little bit of extra $.

thanks for all the responses. I guess I have some more work to do figuring out what works for me. I'm all about options, much appreciated.
