Hi, guys.

I just posted this under amplifiers:
http://www.avsforum.com/t/1492318/need-help-matching-impendances

But if that doesn't work out, I think I might need a pair of super-cheap-but-decent-quality 8-ohm surround speakers for my system. Is it possible for $100 to $150? (Even that makes me cringe right now.) Any recommendations?

You can get a pair of the Pioneer BS-22 speakers for around $120, and they are quite amazingly good for that price.

I suggest that you read the Stereophile review they did on them recently.

Fry's Electronics has the Infinity Primus P163 on sale for $114/pr quite often. If those are too big you can step down to the P153.

How do I catch the right sale? I live a bit far from Fry, to just go and see if there's a sale on. And how do you know they'd be $77?

Check frys.com. They post their print ads online.

Ads come out on Friday morning. Check Frys.com

Usually they're on sale online too the first few days with free shipping.

BIC Venturi....these sound great and about $100 bucks a pair. I am running them as my entire rear set-up on a 7.1 receiver.

I'll support both the Infinity and Pioneer recommendation (I use infinity 360's myself for surrounds), and throw in Behringer 2030P's .

Alright, so I appreciate the Pioneer recommendation -- seems like a great pair of speakers, but... any recommendations for something a little bit smaller and wall-mountable?
