Do Bose Cubes need to be connected through the accustimas sub woofer or can I connect then direct to receiver.

To the best of my knowledge, you could run an AVR's speaker outs to the satellite speakers without ill effects on anything. I don't think Bose publishes much information about the specifications of their components, I wouldn't imagine they are particularly low impedance though.

thanks I have them now for surronds. They work but the 2 I have for rears are through the bose sub woofer and they appear to have stronger base. trying to use as a 7.1 bose bass module is 5.1
