I just bought a Speakercraft MZC 66 (http://www.speakercraft.com/products/total-control/multi-zone-controllers?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage_sc.tpl&product_id=211&category_id=28). For those of you that are not familiar with it, it is a whole home audio amplifier with 12 channels for 6 zones and 6 sources. I am looking for some fairly decent in wall speakers for whole home audio. I do not expect it to absolutely rock out, but I do want to be able to listen to it fairly loud throughout the entire house.

Challenge:

Speakercraft MZC 66 only has 30 watts per channle but is 4Ohm stable if necessary. I have been told that it is a fairly heafty 30 wats due to voltage, but I am not sure what exactly that means.

Due to the low wattage, I feel that it is important that the speakers are fairly efficient

Due to the use for general whole house audio, i want them to have good dispersion and not too much directionality (This makes me hesitant to buy horn tweeter speakers, but I have never had any so would like opinions on them if someone has had experience.

There will be two speakers in each zone spaced fairly far apart to help disburse the sound.

Speakers I am considering (Indoor & Garage @ 2 per zone):

Polk Audio RC85i:

Tweeter: 1"
Mid/Woofer: 8"
Total Frequency Response: 30Hz - 20kHz
Recommended Amplifier Power: 20 - 100 watts per channel
Efficiency: 90 dB
Nominal Impedance: 8 ohms

Polk Audio 265RT

Tweeter: 1"
Mid/Woofer: 2 x 6.5"
Total Frequency Response: 30Hz-27kHz
Recommended Amplifier Power: 20 - 100 watts per channel
Efficiency: 91 dB
Nominal Impedance: 8 ohms
Product Weight (each): 8.1 pounds

Klipsch R-2502

Tweeter: 1"
Mid/Woofer: 2 x 5.25"
Total Frequency Response: 47 Hz - 20 kHz
Recommended Amplifier Power: 20 - 100 watts per channel
Efficiency: 91 dB
Nominal Impedance: 8 ohms
Product Weight (each): 8.1 pounds

BIC America FH8-W

Tweeter: 6 1/4 Horn
Mid/Woofer: 8"
Total Frequency Response: 35-23 kHz
Recommended Amplifier Power: 20 - 175 watts per channel
Efficiency: 94 dB
Nominal Impedance: 8 ohms

Definitive Technology UIW 65

Tweeter: 1"
Mid/Woofer: 6.5"
Total Frequency Response: 28 Hz - 30 kHz
Efficiency: 90 dB
Nominal Impedance: 8 ohms

I am more than open for other options as well. if anyone has any of these and can provide some feedback, I would greatly appreciate it. I know very little about in wall speakers except that they do not compare to floorstanding or even bookshelf.

I have noticed that there is not typically much assistance on in wall speakers on this forum. Does anyone have experience with them? I have three home theater setups (Two with full sixed 7.2 speakers and one with a 5.1 box set). This is simply for accessory music in a whole house system.
