I am wanting to upgrade my speakers. Currently I have a Yamaha Rx-v2600, energy ec-200 center, crappy vivid fronts, energy sub, energy rvss rear surrounds.

I am purchasing a RX-V1900 USED

I am looking at these speakers for $200

Polk Audio Speaker Set
Towers - RT800I
Center Channel - CS245I
Surround Book Shelf - RT15I

I know they are not audiophile quality, but as I search around things get pricey fast and I am done with the days of dropping thousands for the latest and greatest, to be worth nothing next year.

I really like the psb imagine series, and B&W cm 7, 9 & 10 but that is in the future when the kids are gone.

my wants are home theater and some jazz musicality

I am open to look at other sets and try to piece it together but thought in generally this was a pretty good deal.

Unclear what "these speakers" are................

Spinning the rear tire at 150mph while at 3/4 lean angle will put wrinkles in your seat

That's a pretty decent looking speaker set there. I'm thinking if you show up with cash in hand you may be able $50 or so. If they're in mint condition, 200's not a bad asking price but there's probably some wiggle room.

I am also looking and considering a pair of image 5t and a pair of 2b for $400 just trying to upgrade my speaker to sound decent but on a budget, you have any suggestions of speakers to look at, I don't like bright speakers,

Yeah, I'm not familiar with much other than Polks without going way over budget, sorry
