Thanks in advance for all of the help as always. Looking to buy in wall speakers for the L and R of this living room. TV will be lifted up slightly to allow for a new center channel. Real questions are twofold:

1. Wife would prefer placement at or below the level of the furniture, ideally midway between floor and top of cabinet. Obviously not ideal, but with boundary control and Audyssey/MCACC, how much would performance be compromised by placing lower versus placing behind or slightly to side of lamps? Space between window and door jamb to furniture is 14" on both sides.

2. Budget is reasonable but not out of this world. Ceiling is sloped and opens up to catwalk. We were looking at the Monitor Audio WT280 IDC as well as the Atlantic Technology ITWS 10 LCR. Open to other suggestions, but needs to be an inwall solution. Could do an inwall center but current plan was a horizontal center channel bookshelf. Not a huge deal, but consider the back surrounds (likely circular and in wall important as well). Receiver is a Pioneer 1522K. This is more for music and some tv/movies

EDIT: we are painting the walls closer to a neutral white and scrubbing off the "stucco effect"

That is a very nice look you have in your home. Checkout some of the different options.

Look at some of the cut sheets.

We just picked up the SPL-39LCR-AL for our sitting room.

Thanks Hookedonc4...did you all look at any in wall options? The James website also indicates your choice is OOS..is it discontinued?

They custom make to your dimensions if you are talking about the SPL-39-LCR.
