I was able to score two of these yesterday .. Lucked out .. got two from fry's, but then was able to get amazon to price match so I dropped $10 by not paying tax. canceled frys and amazon will deliver tomorrow..  these purchases always lead to more purchases ...

These are going to be pushed with a H/K AVR-525 receiver ..

85 watts x 2 (stereo) into 8 ohms (20-20,000 Hz) at 0.07% THD - or 70 x 7 into 8 ohms (20-20,000 Hz) at 0.07% THD (surround mode)

two questions ..

First question is .. I currently have the SP-C21 center channel .. I've been informed that the SP-C22 is a leap's and bounds improvement .. so.. with the FS52's .. Would it make more sense or sound better .. to go with the SP-C22 or say the Polk CS2/CS10 ? didn't know if mix and matching companies was a big no-no ..

Second question, I purchased the FS52's out of pure assumption that they would be better than my 2002 Yamaha's ..that technology had to change in 11 years.. so...

are the pioneer speakers better then my old Yamaha NS-A200XT speakers

Agreed. Not sure how creating a thread can be perceived as a hi-jack. Someone didn't read the internet manual me thinks...
